From a young age, I knew that music was my calling. As a talented bass guitarist, drummer, and vocalist, I've spent my life immersed in the world of music. But it wasn't until I completed audio engineering and production courses at a local Vancouver college that I truly found my niche.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of roles across the music and entertainment industries. From mixing live gigs in nightclubs to recording bands in smaller studios, I've done it all. Along the way, I've acquired a range of electronics repair skills and even did equipment installation at a few studios.
But my career truly took off when I was hired as chief engineer for Beckett & Lowe Music Productions in the mid-1980s. There, I engineered music projects, recorded jingles and commercials, and maintained the recording equipment. When the studio ventured into television and film work, I designed and built equipment for synchronizing audio and video machines, honing my skills as one of the top chief engineers on the west coast of Canada.
In 1993, I joined Post Modern Sound Inc, where I spent the next decade mixing, editing, and sound-supervising shows for some of the biggest names in the business, including Paramount Television, Universal, ABC, NBC, Cannel Films, Showtime, and Sony Pictures. I even had the opportunity to work on beloved shows like "Highlander" and "Andromeda," and countless TV movies.
Since leaving Post Modern Sound in 2003, I've continued to work on a variety of high-profile movie-of-the-week and feature film projects. I've mixed scores for television movies and animated series and recorded orchestral scores for major studios like Sony Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, Mirimax Films, Netflix , and Apple. Through it all, my passion for sound has never wavered. I'm committed to bringing my clients' projects to life with the highest quality sound possible.
